The Team
Hi, I'm Hussain! As the Founder & CEO of Liaising Healthcare, I started this organization and podcast series as part of my love for healthcare discussions. I'm presently a second-year, undergraduate student at the University of Waterloo studying Health Studies. While my education has been imperative in shaping my healthcare interests, it was primarily at the Region of Peel where I further cultivated my skillsets. I worked as a Health Analyst and provided a wide range of policy and planning support to multiple stakeholders such as Long Term Care Homes, clinics and vulnerable populations. I also volunteer at Long Term Care Home's, work in medical design and innovation, mentor children of at-risk populations, provide tutoring and facilitate support groups for brain-injury survivors. Other experiences include mental health app-development, cyber bullying prevention and extra-curricular's in school. All of these experiences have only added to my interests in healthcare. I've realized how important it is to consider multi-faceted approaches in cultivating productive healthcare discussions. I look forward to chatting!
